Bass is irrelevant, because it is way too overboosted on the Beats. For the money, you are better off with the ATH-M50 for ~$110.

Not sure if you knew this but headphones are no longer about sound quality. It is purely rated based on how loud the bass is and how many times you can say Swag and Yolo while they are on your head.
