The lowest it's ever been is $2.00 and that was two years ago on Steam. No point in waiting any longer for another 85-90% off sale to come along if you have any interest whatsoever in picking it up....

True, but I've had some instances where I've been burned by high metascores. One example is Doom 3 (metascore of 87). Bought when it came out and just didn't like it. Wished I never spent the $50...

Damn. Was going to buy this for a friend. I absolutely loved this game and it was extremely rewarding playing it on the hardest setting right away.

That's a pretty good descriptoin. I would just add that if you like Western Style RPGs, and can overlook a certain amount of bugginess/jank, you willl enjoy this game.
