I would assume that syrup would last indefinitely considering it is kept away from contaminates and sealed/stored properly (i.e., not frozen, overheated, etc.)

I've used maple syrup to make a Vanilla Maple Porter. It turned out quite well, and the syrup is mostly fermentable, so I wouldn't see why not. Chugging contests?

$30 million worth is a big percentage of the annual totals in North America -- big enough to drive the average prices up somewhat. Sooo... fill in the blanks.

good place i have ordered from them before. i prefer the grade B since it is the later "tapping" since it is in the tree longer it is more flavorful, more "mapley" if that is a word.

AFAIK, Sam's sells Canadian maple syrup which does not conform to Vermont grading and density standards - Vermont maple syrup is actually boiled slightly longer for a sweeter product.

Anyone that pays ~$25 for farkin' syrup should have their head checked or they must also use dollar bills as fire wood. Mrs. Butterworth's is a better deal at Walmart.

Maybe the fact that someone is dumb as a stump is the reason they can't use dollar bills as firewood.
