I see a difference in the bokeh. The fan blades of the aperture are a definite upgrade... though I think it is less noticeable between 1.2 and 1.4. I think he was trying to pick a fight.

Seems like every canon lens has went on sale except the 17-40. I'm looking for that at the moment. I just recently bought the Sigma 50mm, I'm a fan of it. Very nice lens for the money.
