Your 750 unit was probably a rebadged Seasonic. PC Power and Cooling never really made their own stuff, mostly had other manufactures make it to their specs like Corsair.

My Topower PSU crapped out 2 days ago and this is a perfect replacement. I have 2 Seasonic 650W, extremely silent and top notch build quality. FYI, the fan would only turn on when CPU is under load.
