No doubt one of the reasons they send all of your S&S items on the same day, which works fine for me. Deals like this are "re-stocking" deals so to speak. When I get down on "stock" I start looking...

Bad deal for the environment and your pocketbook. Switch to rechargeable.

If you would like more you can create another account, perhaps in your wife's name. Just use another email address and you shouldn't have a problem. It says that but you should be able to...

I understand where you're coming from, but as has been said already, not everything is effective with rechargeable batteries. For instance, remote controls, especially ones that are only used once in...

Damnit... $6.66 after tax. Hopefully nothing bad happens to me as a result of this.

The reason this started is that Amazon is loosing over $600M dollars a quarter on shipping costs. You cannot bleed $2.4B in shipping costs a year (even with Prime payers) forever. Amazon will...

No problem. Time to change all the batteries in all 5 weather stations in the house. That task takes 16 batteries, and that doesn't include the remote sensors. Perfect time to find the good...

$7.93 for AAA Are AAA Batteries usually more expensive? Would this be a good deal to pick up? I'm still stocked on AA myself
It's because rechargeable batteries run at a slightly lower voltage which is out of the tolerances of the device.

Buy enough at Costco and the price of the membership is taken care of. I bought 365 Costco brand Claritin (in a bottle, no blister packs) for about $13. Even Target/Up&Up can't touch that price. ...

no offense but I would rather have Duracell over Rayovac. Rayovac is like a Hyundai vs. a Honda. I'll take the Honda every time.

I agree that the Duracells are better. Still have a few left over from the last amazon deal. But for knock about items like remotes and such I figured I'd jump on that HD deal and just get a 48pk...

Interesting, Amazon is telling me this is an "add-on" item and will ship for free once I have $25 worth of items in my cart. I can't order just the batteries. I've never seen Amazon do this before.

decent but comes out to about .50 cents a battery. I think these days people should buy rechargeable they seem to last quite a while & better for environment. Just my 2 cents. -Bean

It's available often enough that I have enough free AA and AAA batteries to last me 5 years easy. Plus, I have plenty of NiMh and hybrids if Staples stops giving me free batteries.
Seeing the same thing. Interesting strategy from them to combat SD Prime abuse.

Amazon-branded AA batteries are a better deal than these Duracells, and in my experience they last just as long or longer. Anyone else had a similar or different experience with Amazon batteries?

How big of a difference is ULTRA vs coppertop?

Good deal if brand means something to u for batteries. Unfortunately, I have been getting longer life out of the 8 packs at the Dollar Tree for a dollar than for the Duracells.
