Correct me if I am wrong :) -In P&S camera, 5x zoom is about equal to 150 in 35mm SLR or full frame DSLR -In this m4/3, the 14-42 zoom is about equal to 28-84 in SLR camera or full frame DSLR. So...

Essentially, the benefit of the X lens is that it is about half the size and weight of a normal 14-42mm kit lens. Also, keep in mind, from googling the web, the X lens has more distortion around the...

They are the same thing and the X is just branding nomenclature.

Yes - I think 14-42 can be compared to 3X zoom in point and shoots

How do you get that much rep?! If the included lens was 2-42 then you would say: 42/2=21 equivalent to P&S :sleepy::sleepy::sleepy:

Just bought one of the last 3 from Amazon. Sold out but you can still add to the cart for shipping at a later date at the $400 price. Repped.

If you're going by price, the GF5 will be cheaper in the long run. The X lens sells for more than the general kit lens and M4/3 has access to more and cheaper primes. The NEX will have the better...

For what it's worth, I have a GF3 and I love it. The photos are excellent. I had various dSLRs over the years, most recently the Canon t3i, which I loved. However, I'm no photographer and as my kid...

It's just not the red. The black and white are also the same price. They just matched this deal. Probably enough people asked them to match.

Check out lens prices for all 4/3 deals. If you are planning on adding different lenses, it may be cheaper to get a t3i/t4i kit to begin with. Stick with the s100. This deal isn't really...

GF5 is the best on pocketable especially with the PZ lens. This deal seems very good, it is, however, a poor buy to me. From the samples I've seen, the resolution of the new 12M sensor is still...

I find it odd that the hot deals of 2012 year-end have been M43 cameras.... who wouldda thunk? I would have bet on SSDs myself, but the deals there died off mid December. Tablets? Nope, no change....

I don't believe you can bounce it (also from a review I'd read, it isn't the strongest flash unit, so might not work well if you tried to bounce it in any case). I know they can be a bit expensive,...
