We played 100 of hours not because it is a great game, it is because D2 is a great game. D2 still light years ahead of D3, and the game was released more than 10 years ago.

Exactly. I got to about Level 15, and it was seriously tedious and boring and have yet to pick it up since. If I'm that deep in a game in Level, it should already be fun, but that's my opinion.

If you are thinking about playing Diablo 3, you should at least know how the game was designed and why it will be a hard habit to break. I put 1000 hours into D3, and I don't like the game very much....

Game requires CD key to register, once it's been registered the key, and the account associated, cannot be transferred. So you're just buying the CE box and goodies. Not a good deal

Yup, same here. Though I was able to sell some of the items (the skull and usb) for like $35 or so. So that helped w/ the cost a bit.

I played D1 when it came out, but did not play D2 (was a busy time in my life). I played D3 on release, and still do, and enjoy it. I don't play it obsessively... probably an hour or two a week...
