The leds that are 120v AC suck. they appear dim. They are actually flashing really quick because of the Alernating Current. Regular bulbs aren't affected by that.

It's the blue-ish tint that it sounds like you hate. "Cool" = ugly, "Warm" = traditional. I'm waiting for LED to lose the blue, too.
