$199 is correct price for this as it lacks WIFI builtin and rear speakers are not wireless, the tall speakers are just fancy and not that of great sound.

Yes, you should be able to run optical FROM your TV TO the receiver, and then have it act as your speakers and the TV as the switch. You'll probably have to buy the optical cable...they are cheap. ...
