Your 529 plan tracks all your contributions and balance. I can go to my 529 online account any time and print out all the transactions during any period I like to see. That should be good enough...

Just a warning for those who get this benefit. Almost certainly the Financial Planners you get appointments with will be on commission, and probably could receive a commission from certain plans....

Exactly. I didn't become aware of the tax advantages of 529's until just after I got out of college. Otherwise, I would have taken the same approach you are.

I don't think they could. Only the account owner can initiate a withdrawal of money. Now it would really suck if they take money as a fee out of the $50 to transfer the money to a 529 account.

I was able to apply two gift cards to the same account. It shows $100 as balance. So multiple cards per account is working.
