I won't get into my feelings about AT&T and Uverse. Remember whatever you decide Uverse has a cap on usage, and you'll be punished for going over...$$$

Yes, I heard it's 250GB per month. I know it's under 1GB a day, but I think that it should be okay. I'll have to see. Good thing they told me there's an indicator when you log in online to check...

I don't seem to follow your logic there, but I doubt that they will price match - their 12mb/s is their high-end, while it's just the basic level of service for Comcast

I was saying that comparing the speed of 12mbps, Comcast is offering that for $19.99 a month for new customers while AT&T is offering it for $29.95 a month for new customers. Comcast's is called...

No, I'm only talking about internet only service. If you look through the search of SD, you'll find many posts over the past 6 months of people getting mailers or phoning in and getting $19.99/month...

I'm not asking about the past six months. I'm talking about now. Also, AT&T does not often try to price match and they don't have any special offers for people leaving their competitors. You might as...

Are you just assuming Comcast still offers $19.99 for 12 months in your area or do you know for sure? Also do you currently have any sort of TV service?

I just called in and they had nothing to offer me as a current customer. They wanted $50 a month for Blast and TV service the first year, going up to $60 the 2nd, with a 2 year contract. They...

Did AT&T charge your activation fee? $29.99 for 12 mbps is a great deal. You need to pay very close attention to your monthly statement. It took them 6 month to correct the billing after infinite...

I've been an AT&T U-verse customer for a year now and I don't have a data cap. I've never been charged for anything over. I have 3 computers and multiple devices connected, plus we do online gaming...

Actually U-verse's fastest service is 24mb/s depending on your area. That's still a far cry from Comcast's fastest tier but it's certainly more than the 12mb/s you claim.

I never said that 12mb/s is the fastest for U-Verse. I just said that 12mb/s is the plan that I'd like to get from U-Verse, which is called their max plan and comcast's 12mb/s is called performance...

yes, initially I thought that the 250GB per month cap that I have with AT&T now (yes, I went with them instead of Comcast) would be an issue, but when I calculated it, it's more than 8 GB a day,...

They didn't charge me an activation fee because I made them match the online promo in which the activation fee was waived. $29.99/month is basically the promotion that they have for all new AT&T...
