They are different classes of headphones, but I'd rather spend $30 on the HD428 than these. Those Sony's are NOT noise cancelling. They are noise isolating, 2 different things.

Mine came in on Wednesday. They're nothing special - OK for $20. Sound quality is fine, but they're much smaller cups than I expected. Comfortable enough, but not exactly what I was expecting.
