The NEX will win at higher ISOs, it doesn't get similar until you get something like the GH3 or the OM-D. That being said, you won't need to go to ISO 1600 on the GF2 because the 25mm is F1.4...

the newer 16mp sensor like the one in the GX1 is better for many reasons besides just being a higher mp rating... all things equal, a lower mp rating gives you better low light performance

This GF5 has a better grip for one handed shots, higher resolution LCD screen and higher ISO(12800) STEREO sound, not MONO over the GF3. Maybe some other hidden gems that I did not mention.
