suncast products are typically very low end. i would suggest looking at their other product to see the type of quality you can expect.

to make this really slick, put a bed in there and pay someone so that you can lay this thing in their backyard.

In the suburbs of Wash DC you can get an 8x8 T1-11 (laminated 5/8" textured siding) shed built on-site for $1000, probably cheaper in most parts of the country. That would include 2 windows, choice...

Hmm, seems like a great price, especially if that's solid cedar, and not just some sort of veneer. Someone gave a thumbs down for product quality, but I'm having a hard time finding any reviews on...

you'd have to call your town/city/village/hamlet and ask to find out. I can say that where I am, the city is pretty fond of their permits, and any shed (that doesn't have a concrete foundation) that...

yes it would cost around 2k for an 8x8 from a reputable shed company. To me though this is one of those items that you should either go real cheap (500) on or pay the price (2k) and get quality. You...

That's a quick way to having to get a permit where I live. YMMV

Seems like a great deal to me. In for 1.

Fair enough. But I still wouldn't spend $1000+ on a shed when I've never seen the finished product. The fact that it is on sale at HD or costs more elsewhere would not be a compelling reason for me...

Any idea how much more it would cost to have a shed custom-built and delivered? I bet it's at least double this price (but I don't know, so feel free to correct me).

Home Depot has on sale the Suncast 8 ft. x 8 ft. Cedar and Resin Hybrid Storage Shed for just $1,007 through 1/30/13. Shipping/delivery adds $55. Online exclusive, not available in stores. Price...

Now the question is how to build this shed? Let's start from the foundation.

Good looking shed. Why not buy a smaller Rubber-Maid shed that you can attach washer-dryer hook-ups to a guest house.

At this size, don't buy anything you have to paint. 2"-3" cement pad depending on where u live.

In for one, thinking about a second as it should go together even faster once I learn on the first one. Thanks OP, repped.

I was actually thinking about a second as well. Was going to buy some Home Depot egift cards to save a little more.

1 for one. Do I need a permit?
Post #56989600 added 01-20-2013 9:28 PM by toddrf in Archived Deals
But I've never met a Home Depot shed that I'd have on my property at any price. But then I subscribe to the motto "buy once, cry once". HD usually has most of their sheds built on the lot as...

There are a couple custom shed-builders in my area and they charge $15/sf. That would be $960 for an 8x8 (same size as OP).

But this isn't a Home Depot shed, it's a Suncast shed sold at numerous retailers - Home Depot just happens to have the best price - by far - right now.

Okay, who is giving this deal a thumbs down for "not a good price"? I'm pretty sure you can't find this shed anywhere else for less! (If you'd like to try, just search for Suncast model # WRS8800.)

there was a review for the same cedar shed product except the smaller shed.. they said the ceder felt like ikea quality. so it does not look like its worth it.. better off paying more to a local shed...
