Considering the Polk Monitor 60 series II are often on sale for the same price, no way I could recommend getting these 6ohm pioneer speakers. That and also remembering the FS51's were OFTEN on sale...

Yeah, shipping kills it for me too, but I'd rather send my money to Tiger Direct than those jackholes at Best Buy.

I've heard good things about these speakers and found a deal on them at tigerdirect for $99.99 each. Current price for these on Amazon and Best Buy is $124.99. I'm in California so I get charged...

i would suggest wait till next year around october. they will be looking to move these out for the next years models and they will go on clearance for about $100 a pair.

Lower impedance draws more power from your amp. There's a lot of info on speaker impedance you can find online. Speaker impedance can also fluctuate depending on what is being played, etc..
