The 373 does not have HDMI standby pass-through, neither did the 371...but the work-around is Optical or ARC from TV to Receiver

Pass thru doesn't matter to me at all. I've never had the tv on and the receiver off. I've returned two onkyo's so far one kept shutting off at high volumes and the other wouldn't work with the hdmi....

The a720 is a kick ass receiver and $320 is WELL BELOW cost price. If I were you, I would buy it right now and sell it. With eBay buy it not price's being at $559, that's $240 profit, excluding eBay...
