Sprint 4S has a sim card slot and it can be *unlocked*, however, the unlock is expensive and still blacklists all the US carriers so it will only work with international sim cards.

I believe that's the whole point of getting a used GSM iPhone! You can use an AT&T one even without unlocking it if you order the right thing from Straight Talk. Did this for my wife two months ago
