Just order a harness and mounting kit for your specific vehicle. Try to stay away from the universal kit, it works but is an eyesore. Then grab a set of wire strippers, heat wrap, solder, and...

Higher peak usually coincides with higher RMS. The one he picked has USB, too. However, that being said, I don't think I ever could bring myself to buy something made by "Boss Audio" or similar.

I thought I saw a double din adapter on the site, also. But, I heard one could buy a 63/4 bracket to fit the 61/2 speakers at amazon...what do I look up or sku?

I looked at a couple single din adapter plates on Crutchfield but was not really thrilled with the look of them. Also, if anyone is not having luck finding this deal at Walmart, Amazon has the...

It pretty much is the same head unit. The OP's deal would have netted you 2 speakers for free. You could then sell or gift or squirrel away.

How can I tell if the speakers/deck would fit into a 2008 Nissan Xterra?

generally you simply replace the speaker, not augment with new ones. stock speakers are pretty terrible.

No they don't. But I'm sure you can do it yourself. It's great to learn something new. It all depends on what car you have first lol.
