Sure they do. It really depends on the game engine. I can get 250-280fps in some gpu less intense games, but of course thats unneeded and i just lock it to my refresh rate.

No I have 120hz monitors. From the reviews I have read 144fps @ 144hz is just slightly smoother than 120fps @ 120hz. The Lightboost tech makes the largest leap in the smoothness quality.
