Check to see if they fixed the ticker judder. We experimented with Samsung plasmas 5 years ago or so and that drove me nuts. Once you see it you can't unsee it.

I owned both of the models and especially with the GT being cheaper, I can definitely say it is better value as a whole. The picture quality is definitely one notch better.

From what I know cheapest 4K TV is made by LG which costs $14,000 and Sony is $24,000. So it's little more than 2~3X the price.
