I owned both of the models and especially with the GT being cheaper, I can definitely say it is better value as a whole. The picture quality is definitely one notch better.

From what I know cheapest 4K TV is made by LG which costs $14,000 and Sony is $24,000. So it's little more than 2~3X the price.
