The product page still shows $49.99 - $20 rebate. And if you add it to your cart now, it shows $79.99 but the subtotal still says $49.99. When I checked out earlier, it still showed $49.99 for...

I think I took too long ordering. The PP authorization is for $49.99, but they don't charge until it ships and it would probably fail if the authorization is less than the amount they want to charge....

Oh cool! For a while after 9pm, I couldn't even access my cart...it'd just lead to an error. That slowed me down some.

They pulled a bait-and-switch. I had it in my cart for $49.99, and after I completed Paypal checkout the confirmation screen showed $79.99 instead. Bastards!
