As some others have said, I'd also up the GPU to 7870 or GTX 660 Ti or higher (670, etc.) A little ways back, Fry's had a PNY 660 Ti for ~$200 AR, but that's preference, i've had excellent support...

SSD Caching should be the cheaper solution. It's decent, plenty fast enough and for the average user it helps having a single drive.
Pricing wise it should only be $40~ cheaper than a dedicated...

Spending $150 on a storage drive is overkill since you're going to have a nice sized SSD...also, if I'm spending ~$1k on components, I'm not spending $80 on a case.
