i think the ram is soldered on the motherboard ultrabook is not really upgradeable no hdmi it has the mini display port (i tihnk) not bad for the price (if you can find one to use the coupon on)

DisplayPort handles higher resolution monitors, as well as a greater number of monitors than HDMI due to higher bandwidth. DisplayPort is better, do some reading, then buy the cheap adapters.
