This is a decent price. I bought this drive from Newegg about 2 months ago - with an extra year's warranty (replacement of failed drive) for $87.99 shipped. It had gone on sale for that price a...

THANK YOU. how do i know what speed my MSI is? 5400 or 7200. al though i read up on difference and 5400 is overall probably better for me (other runs too hot and i don't do a lot of video editing)....

For XBOX, I believe you can score a better deal on USB external/portable 1TB drives e.g. Western Digital WD Elements SE USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drives: 500GB $39 after $30 rebate, 1TB $59 after $30...

That's great and all, but you can't cram a 3.5 inch hard drive into a notebook/laptop or into a PS3. Two different HD buddy.

Hmm... pass, 5400 rpm is a thing of the past. Solid State HDD prices are slated to fall next year... will wait for them.

2GB is nothing. Sleeping Dogs is like 8-10 gigs and GT5 I think is around 20 gigs with updates and a few add-ons. The new assassins creed triolgy that came out for ps3 is 26 gigs. These large...

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-can-ssd-upgrades-boost-ps3-performance Here is a good article with videos showing the difference between 5400rpm and SSD on RAGE and Skyrim.
It is ok for people to still live in 2012.... Is the effect of flood completely gone? The price of HDD and SSD didn't fall as much as I expected, especially the price of 1TB 3.5 HDD....IIRR I got...

It might help a little but most likely not enough to warrant buying it again. My main games are GTA IV, Skyrim, and Rage. So a SSD makes alot more since for me personally.

It should be 100% compatible. I highly doubt that you have a PATA connection for your hard drive. All of the old laptops I've dealt with have sata connections. Considering it's MSI branded, it...

That's 750GB, not 1TB. The only 7200 RPM 2.5" 1TB drive out so far is the Hitachi Travelstar. ($90 shipped from J+R)

I was considering this Travelstar to upgrade my PS3. I just wonder how reliable it is, given the surprisingly low price.
