Actually, BF3 is one of the most CPU intensive games out there. But the the GTX650 isn't so powerful that your G550 would be clearly holding you back.

Its a shame that these cant be run in SLI config. The 7850 provides much better expansion options with its ability to be run in crossfire configuration later on if your motherboard supports...

I'm not sure what you mean by trolling, but I just asked because I currently have a 560ti, and didn't know if the new entry level gpu was faster. Seemed like a cheap upgrade if it was, but it's not...

This would have performance issues on skyrim with high texture mods and eye candy set high wouldn't it due to 1gb?

anyone think that $40 for a 7850 or something equivalent would be the better investment if it wanted to keep it for more than a year?

I was on the fence in making the decision yesterday. Fortunately, I waited a day. The Power Edition comes with a slightly faster clock speed (993 vs 954Mhz) and a fancier cooling fan. It also...

not sure if trolling. 560 ti goes for about $180-190ish right now. this 650ti an entry level gpu as suggested by the price.
Post #57251330 added 01-30-2013 4:41 PM by nxsfan in Archived Deals
whenry83, I find this difficult to believe. There may be odd cases out there where the G550 would be the computational constraint but the vast majority of games would not notice.

Okay, I should clarify. I was talking about multiplayer games like Guild Wars 2 and CS GO. Single player games should be no issue.
i was thinking the same thing, like SC2 would probably be CPU bound in this case, but i doubt FPS games would be...right?
