i dont care too much for the drop in performance but the drop in durability life is huge IMHO... i like to retire my old hard drives to relatives systems and this thing might be a paper weight in 5...

UM in 5 years you will be able to buy a 1TB ssd for cheaper than this. If it lasts 3 years I will be happy. If it lasts less than that, I am covered by warranty.
