I agree with KarateB0b. Most ppl use SSD for boot/loading programs so a sata 2 vs sata 3 is not much difference but the Intel is so reliable and durable it' just better. But u do lose 100GB though...

As far as I recall there's no difference between SATA II/III cables...SATA III cable is just a marketing thing, any SATA cable (even a 3Gb) should work as expected with a SATA III ssd.

Ah - my mistake. Didn't realize that there were two "versions". Ironically - it wouldn't have mattered to me really since my case has an SSD slot ready to go without the need for adapters, screws...
