I'm tall, so there's no way I'd be Ok on an 8 hour flight to the islands. The most I can do is 2, maybe 2.5 hours in coach.

Maui is a much better vacation location. Resorts are amazing. Honolulu is alright if you're mainly doing shopping or surfing.
