Trader Joe's has their own organic virgin coconut oil as well. 16 oz. I believe it is $5.99 so beats this price as well. I have a feeling TJ's is made possibly by Nutiva or equivalent name brand.

If you are new to trying coconut oil in foods, go with their 16 oz version first (available at amazon). Price difference per oz isn't still too bad.

Be careful with fancy oils as there is a high level of food fraud involved. $1 a gallon might be too good to be true.
