People REALLY need to stop linking that chart. It's nothing but a disservice as it's just a horrible list of synthetics. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/GPU/88

I completely disagree that XFX is superior than PowerColor, that is more 'to each their own' and yes XFX is a good reputable manufacture and their warranties are great as well but PowerColor is...

Just stop.. this is a blatant threadcrap. Read Tom's Hardware review. They just reviewed Powercolor 7870 le and it looks great.

the motherboard only makes a tiny difference. A 7850 may still be OK for you but you should do some research to see if you should upgrade at all. Here is one example: ...

Oh, you don't have to believe me, I don't need you too. I just need a good price on a newer card so I can give this one to my sister.

I'm not sure why you are being like that. I'm not trolling, and I'm certainly not stupid. We are probably playing different games here; there are more out there besides BF3.

7850 is a good deal, overclocks up to 1200-1400 on core and 6000 on memory at 1.3 volts, although YMMV with how well it overclocks. 1.3 volts requires a bios flash though

I'm thinking about building a mid-range PC in the future. This seems to be a good buy, yes? With these AMD promos, is it possible to sell the codes on say, eBay?
is it worth the upgrade from my powercolor 5770?

The XFX is the superior card to the PowerColor. Sapphire is preferable to both. PowerColor is the worst brand you can buy, alongside probably Diamond.

People resell the AMD bundles all the time. The value may be less as they are both on the same certificate (it looks that way at least). The promo code doesn't work if there are bundled games.

For those that know these cards - is the 2Gb really worth the extra money over the 1Gb? They also have a Sapphire 1Gb 7850 with the same bundle for $155 AR & free shipping. I trust Sapphire more as...

PowerColor has the worst, loudest fan of the group. And every RMA experience I've read about them has been negative. Just my two cents. There are brands that literally don't respond to RMA...

They are resellable, but maybe only as a pair. New customer vouchers apparently do not work when games are included. It needs 25 amps on the 12 volt rail. Check the power supply. If it does...

Neither have I. My last PowerColor card outlived its cooling fan :) Still ran fine but overheated on load :( The fan going bad was ultimately my fault for not blowing out the dust routinely.

For those who don't care for the games: This XFX 7850 is $160 AR AC AF(after filler). I chose this headset as a filler. The coupon comes from their friend referral program.
