Recently built an i-5 2500k from spare parts.
The RAM is Gskill Ripjaws X:
2x 4GB @ 1600 CAS 9
2x 4GB @ 2133 CAS 10
All 16GB running at 1866MHz CAS 10. I know it will go faster, but I'm not...

Define at a different MHZ. You shouldn't mix kits period.
