My A500 stopped working 1 month out of warranty (power switch) . Acer wants $199 to repair. Check Amazon... some 9% of the A500's seem to fail within 13 to 16 months

I have the A500, I'm rather disappointed on how it's aged. I've updated to ICS and as the apps keep updating the devices just keeps getting slower and slower.

We have 2 A500 that both updated to ICS. Both works very well. However, I am not sure if the A501 can be updated to ICS or not.
