i highly doubt the 60u50 will see $600 price, they are selling like hotcakes at $700 and they are phasing out this 2012 model TV to get ready for the 2013 model therefore i dont see $600 happening...

ahh, i see they lowered the retail price this week...either way im pretty sure they charged u tax on the $799.99 instead of $749.99 if u do the math. so its an extra $5 tax on top of the extra $50...

I got the costco one for $749. I think the extra $49 is well worth the costco extra 2 years warranty and no hassle return.
