Delete your windows old folder. Windows 8 isn't that large unless you allow it to bloat your system with unnecessary backup files.

840 PRO is by far a better drive here - better on board memory chips AND controller. Its the best mix of speed and reliability available. 840 non-pro, this would be the better drive, vs the PRO...
