Spreading them out won't help you. They're all independent of each other, so one may go down while the other may stay the same. You can't judge your creditworthiness by only one score.

i've been getting my annual credit reports this way for 3-4 years now... i get my credit score from a savings account that I have with DCU...

This won't get you the credit score - just the credit report. Spreading them will help you get the most up-to-date report, granted not everything is reported to all the 3 agencies.
