Their inventory system is farking stupid. Cowboom would be a lot more worthwhile if they just listed how many they have in stock and let them be purchased until they're gone. There's no reason to...

Ok, another issue I see is that DLNA is supposedly LAN only for Panasonic. Is this true? Samsung doesn't seem to have DLNA but does say it can plan shared media from other devices over wifi.

This panasonic is much better than the Samsung.

In which ways is it better? Other than reliability, I see that the Samsung actually has a web browser. However, the Panasonic has a card reader but has some quality issues. Samsung's only quality...

Do you know what the terms mean? LAN stands for Local Area Network which may contain both wired and wireless connections. So I'll go ahead and confirm that DLNA works with WiFi.

Again, I'm fluent in networking. However, why would they have "DLNA (via LAN)" under features when they also mention Vierra Connect working with wi-fi and also list "VIERA Connect (and Built-In...

Even worse -- I had one in my cart, went to checkout, created my account, entered credit card info, then hit submit only to be told it's OOS. I can totally understand when items go OOS between cart...

FYI, maybe available again. I just got one @ 10:05 pm pacific. After like the 10,000th refresh. Luckily I was doing a mindless task and could hit refresh ever minute or so. Of course, they now...

No, they will not but I was able to call them up once and they manually credit it back to me. It was for a DOA iPod. The call took like 5 minutes.

I read CowBoom return policy and see that it is 30 day and includes free return shipping, but does anyone know if they refund the original shipping cost?

Isn't this all the garbage that sat on the showroom floors in all their BestBuy stores? And why would you need to refresh 10-100 times? Fitting I guess.

Anything I've sent back that was DOA or in horrible shape I've been credited the entire cost including any shipping I paid. In addition it was automatic, no phone call required.

There's batch conversion programs like xilisoft video converter which will do all the work for you. I bought AMD's 8350 8 core processor and the thing is a converting BEAST. Read reviews.

I understand networking. Can someone confirm DLNA works with wi-fi? In the descriptions on Amazon, which appear to be direct from Panasonic, it adds (via LAN) but then also says the unit has wi-fi...

I like the panasonic interface, the samsung is terrible to use. Samsung apps are slow and many times do not work correctly.

no sweat:lmao: having some fun back. Here's some info on DivX by the way. Looks like "no" for the US because Panasonic wouldn't pay licensing fee. Works in Canada and EU though.

No one uses divx anymore.
