Uh what new models? 8xxx series is just the same 7xxx series but shipped to OEM's and rebranded. No new actual cards until Q4 most likely.

Nvidia is releasing the GTX Titan which will be around $900 and more of an aim towards the new consoles. The 7970 ghz edition runs Crysis 3 maxed out at 50-60fps. There is no problems with Crysis....

Yea I was in the same boat, the Diamond card was a great deal, I finally picked up an XFX card last go round, with the rebate, cash back and selling the games to a friend for $35 brought the card...
