Now that the AT&T sim cards are no longer available, I'm curious to know what other AT&T users are choosing when switching over to ST. Especially if you're in the STL area.

My nearest walmart still stocks them to this day. It's the only one though. All the rest of the Walmarts in my area have pulled it from the shelf.

Clarification? If you already have your AT&T sim card ( I have a 3gs At&t phone) unlimited data becomes 1.5G? or is that just Net 10's or what? Also if I get a 4g phone AT&T can I cut my sim card...

Yeah, still unlimited calling & texting. Just the data is capped at 1.5gb. Still a pretty good deal IMO for non-heavy data users.

some reported over at HoFo that Walmart cancelled orders when you purchase the sim and refill card combo. try the sim alone and it will go through most likely.

Bit of a gamble too, no reason they cant say you need to reset for use on Tmobile instead of AT&T towers whatever SIM used
you can purchase this one and it will work, you will need a service plan also, but other than that nothing else is required ...

Another important point is "3G" differs GREATLY between networks. Sprint 3G and AT&T 3G are very different in terms of speed. AT&T 3G (in my personal experience) is 10 fold faster than sprint

For just two people you are probably right. However, I have 5 people on my ATT family plan, 4 out 5 of which have data plans. Costs me 190-200 per month. Same price as straight talk.

If you still need one the regular size ones on ebay are much cheaper and you can by a sim cutter and it will work. The micro sims are going for $30-$40. Wish I would of stocked up when they were $5 :(
