The router has a built-in Powerline capability, so that makes it a pair with the included adapter. You don't need any additional ones unless you want to link more than one remote location.

FYI, the router gos for nowhere near this price ever....you can buy them for $45 on ebay all the time.
so its not as good of a deal as you might think. Not bad for complete package but the $70 off...
