You've got that backwards. Viewing angles on plasmas are basically the same as old CRT tvs. LCD/LEDs are the ones you have to concern yourself with viewing angles.

120Hz isn't a "slick" marketing term, it's a real hardware spec. LG has been cheating for ages. Their sets are 60Hz sets that simulate 120Hz through flickering the lights. People aren't bent out...

Wait, what? You may have that backwards. Plasma doesn't suffer from angle-distortion at all. LCD is what can distort even when viewing just off-center (outside of IPS screens). I did forget...

That's pretty subjective but most put plasma above LCD (/LED) given similar quality panels. It's mostly because of the better blacks compared to LCD/LED and don't suffer from the light leakage. ...
