TU, good to hear from someone who has used one. Sorry to hear it isn't much better at hole enlargement though. Yeah, it seems like one of those tools that you might call on when you have a strange...

Haven't used this particular one, but I've used these kinds of bits before. They definitely have their uses and you'll be thankful you have it when you need it. Only problem is it's only on very rare...

That's pretty much what I figured too. Just throw it in the toolbox for when you need to make a quick cut in something. I'm also curious how well it works for reaming, since I've had numerous...

The previous version of this was a lot better, a much harder bit with side cutting nibs on the entire middle section of the bit.
The new one, as pictured, is a cheap-o version with just a small...

It will, but it will make a ton of dust and take longer than cutting the same hole with a utility knife.

interesting... it's basically a side cutting drill bit. Similar in concept to the function of a RotoZip, but without the dedicated tool. There is one review on the site, but he seemed to indicate...

just dont expect to cut with this like cutting with a router. I basically nibbles at the edges and slowly cuts/or expands a hole.

I picked this up a while back with some free SYWR points. For me this bit has limited usability. It seems to be able to drill straight through material like wood and drywall ok, but has real...

Not sure what applications it fits for. It cuts slowly, difficult to cut straight, grinds away too much material, generates lots of dusts.
