My experience is that this camera performs well in low light especially with that 2.8. It does get a little grainy if the ISO goes above 400 or so but I think that is common in all point and shoots....

i had FZ150 and i was very disappointed. total failure when it comes to indoor pictures. sold it on ebay for a loss. be carefull with is lumix. I would by Nikon D7000 instead and be done with it.
