The best way imo is to do the gel like normal, then apply a cost or two of the regular np. Then top coat with a regular top coat. The regular polish wears longer on top of gels, just be sure to wrap...

I don't use the gloves, I'm not sure who would need/want to. I've looked at the nail soakers too but just use cotton balls soaked in acetone and wrap each nail with strips of foil. 10 minutes later...

This is the most inexpensive set that I have seen. You still need all of the polishes and you would pay more for them. Consider it a free light, even better than $8 homemade.
