$600 price tag? What's that including? $20 worth of RAM, a $50 mSATA SSD, and a $250 copy of Windows Super Ultimate Rainbow Turbo Edition Hyper HD? I'm sure that computer exists. Sklar...

Do you hate Intel or something? It seems like your post history about them isn't ever positive. As it stands, outside of Broadwell, they're still making them. And until they stop, I'll keep making...

:lmao: Best laugh I had all day. I'm terribly sorry about all of this. I didn't realize how many slickdealers were living in 300 square foot apartments with three other people.

HD4000 scales with TDP and series (i3-i7). Everyone uses i7 HD4000 to talk up its capabilities when an i3 ULV with HD4000 will completely suck in comparison.

I have one running VMware ESXi 5.1. It's perfect for an always-on box. My Proliant ML110s are massive in comparison! That said, you do pay a premium for the small form factor; if that's not of...

Number of SSD drives on NE: 11/20 of those are in stock. Intel is jumping the gun with killing of 2.5" drives. Not to mention most people will want terabyte or larger drives for HTPC's.

Not to beat a dead horse....but are you seriously comparing an Android stick to an i3 processor ?? Heck, why not compare it to my $5.99 calculator I have on my desk. I STILL like it !!

i agreed. please compare apple to apple and oranges to oranges (no pun intended). the NUC is not cheap, but the form factor is 'sexy'. if you have space for it, then go ahead and get a m-itx. There...

I'm seriously comparing functional items that can perform a particular set of functions. If you're going to look at streaming video for example, there are many options much cheaper than this. It...

Nope, its just an htpc. Which I can stuff full of drives, tuner cards and all sorts of stuff. Pulls a whopping 26 watts running full blast. Sits right behind one of my speakers, all but invisible....

Removing 2.5" drive support is welcomed now? Intel loves you giving them apple margins.

For being so "well off" you must have a really crappy computer. Very interesting that your full tower computer uses less energy than the average video card. Even at idle a video card pulls 10-30...

Hmm, seems the intel integrated gpu in my crappy computer uses next to nothing all the time. Pssst...its an htpc...it doesn't have to have a lot of high watt parts. Thats what the i7 tower is...

If you want to cut costs, you can find wireless K/M for under 20 on SD fairly often. There's no need for more than 4gb RAM on an HTPC. Skip the wifi card and go wireless or just buy a USB 2.0 wifi...

I probably could, but I really don't care that much. For starters, I don't like in an apartment in Sweden, so a tiny form factor only means higher costs, higher thermals, less expansion, and a...

Send me a link to a different 4" x 4" x 2" computing device running a Core i3 or better for under $300 ??? I like it. I suppose you could slap an Apple logo on it....and triple the price.

Can't wait for Intel to release BGA. Wave  to your future cheap builds as Intel can't survive with offering that cheap shit.
