This version does not have have esata or usb3. The ones with the purple logo have those. The other E02 model is better supported by the hacker community.

Thanks for the info. It seems the only advantage of this model is the eSATA. Also it looks like this model only has one USB port. The older model seems to be the better option unless you need eSATA.
