i used to sell these at sears.... I will say, panasonic upper end plasma's are the best tv's made.... that being said, if you absolutely are wanting to go with either vizio or sharp I would...

i did post the 60 inch ST series plasma from panasonic but removed it because I think it expired... let me dig a little. was 1450 or something. Are you dead set on an LED?
