costco or BJ's have good discounts. They beat out the other sites such as hotwire when I was looking for my November trip to Maui. You have to keep looking. Prices fluctuate regularly.

If you guys are looking for a cheap place to stay, there is a hostel in Waikiki I always stay at called Waikiki beach side hostel. I refuse to pay for a hotel I won't be at 90% of the time.

I never do get how these airline prices work. I mean from Houston to HNL it's like $1400. Houston is so much closer to HNL than NYC, why such a big difference in price?
