I bought one of these for the regular 7" Kindle (non-HD) and it covers a lot of the controls on the screen when playing games. I wouldn't recommend it.

I have this one, got it at Target on clearance a while back. Does it's job just fine. Mine doesn't cover any useable portion of the screen.can play all the games just fine. My 4 year old has dropped...

No it doesn't fit the Kindle Fire HD. Several reviewers mentioned it in the amazon reviews.
