You are correct. I have the 7 inch version, and I used it less than a month. No access to Google apps including the play store.

Well looks like no stores near me has it since I don't get the "Nearby" link when I put in my zip code. I tried a city 1 hour away and the nearby link popped up.

I have the 7" version and I have to agree, the screen looks crummy and it's not very responsive to touch and of course no pinch or widen function through touch, but for 22 bucks I guess who cares as...

yea just tried different cities in CA, and most has no nearby link. Found 2 places around LA
that has limited stock. Dallas Tx, has 1 store with limited stock

And now you know why it was only $22. :). Someone gave me a cheap tablet a couple years ago. I wish they didn't. It wasn't even worth "free." I even needed to work to try to offload it to the next...
